This children's book was designed as part of a Print & Art based elective course. The textured, fun collage style of illustration compliments and enhances the story, as it is written from a child's perspective.
‘Don’t Tell My Mum’ is the story of an over imaginative 6 year old boy named Ollie, who is certain he has secret mind powers. With his trusty cat Willow by his side, Ollie goes through his day and his memories to recall all the times he has used his secret powers. From scenarios in the classroom and the car, to dinner time at the table. Unbeknownst to Ollie, his powers may actually just be his over active imagination and a very loving mum.
